Nova Bus invests CAD10m in plant expansion

Canada - Nova Bus Corporation of Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada (a subsidiary of the Volvo Group) is to invest CAD10m to expand its transit bus manufacturing facility in Saint-François-du-Lac, Quebec. The new addition, representing approximately 33,000 square feet, will allow the introduction of a laser cutting centre and will support plans to expand production.
This investment is part of the transformation plan announced in 2017, which included the upgrading of the company’s Quebec plants, through the automation of operations and the introduction of innovative energy-efficient processes and digital technologies.
