Russian bus market falls by 8% in first nine months of 2020

Russia - Registrations of buses and coaches 5t gvw and above on the Russian market in the first nine months of 2020 fell by 8.0% year-on-year to 9,052 vehicles, according to statistics reported by LLC Avtostat Info.

Foreign-made brands accounted for just 6.2% totalling 566 units; this excludes MAZ and Neman from Belarus. Most of these buses were Chinese-made buses totalling 401 units or 70.8%. MAN held the lead among European manufacturers thanks to the delivery of a big batch of MAN Lion’s Coaches to Moscow city.
