Russia – In the first nine months of 2020, Russia sold 49,562 medium and heavy-duty trucks, which was 7.6% fewer than those registered in the same period of last year, according to statistics collated by Avtostat Info.

The decline in sales was attributed to the slowdown in the economy, which itself was blamed on the Covid-19 lockdown, new vehicle price inflation, a weakened rouble, and a general reduction in the number of buyers.
