Russia’s light truck segment contracts just 8.2% in first nine months of 2020

Russia - LCVs (up to 5t gvw) in the first nine months of 2020, Avtostat Info reports the segment contracted by 8.2% to 66,906 units. The sales of Russian-made models fell by 9% to 44,746 units, while foreign brands contracted by 6.5% to 22,160 units.

GAZelle NEXT remained the most popular vehicle in the segment with 16,779 registrations (down 12.7%). Ford Transit registered 9,084 units, up 7.0% up and remained market leader among foreign brands.
