VDL to launch new electric Citea city bus model range at Busworld 2021

The Netherlands - VDL Bus & Coach BV of Valkenswaard (a division of the VDL Groep in Eindhoven) is to present its new generation of electric Citeas at the Busworld exhibition in Brussels next October. VDL say the bus concept has been developed entirely based on an electric driveline, ready for a future where zero emission transport is a matter of course.

While it plans to release more details in a special campaign leading up to the formal launch next year, it did mention a few details about the new bus, which is summarised below.
