Avtotor starts CKD assembly of Hyundai Mighty trucks

South Korea / RussiaHyundai Truck and Bus Rus LLC* of Moscow, the official Russian operation of Hyundai Motor Company of Seoul, South Korea, has started series CKD assembly / manufacture of the Hyundai Mighty medium-duty truck range at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The first two Mighty trucks being assembled are the EX8 and EX9 models with respective gross vehicle weights of 7.8t and 8.5t; the first versions of these Mighty trucks appeared on the Russian market in August 2019.

The Hyundai Mighty EX8 is offered with a 160hp 2.9-litre D4CC engine (392Nm) and five-speed mechanical gearbox. There are three wheelbase options: 3,400mm, 3,850mm and 4,200mm with payloads of 5.26t, 5.2t and 5.21t respectively.
