New joint owners at Temsa (Sabanci Holdings and the PPF Group) plan major push into electric transportation segment

Turkey / The Netherlands / Czech Republic - October 2020 saw Turkish light truck, bus and coach builder, Temsa Transportation Vehicles (Temsa) of Adana, Turkey become jointly-owned by the PPF Group* of Amsterdam, Netherlands (which also owns a controlling shareholding (86%) in Škoda Transportation** of Plzen, Czech Republic) and long-term owner, Sabanci Holding*** of Istanbul, Turkey, each holding a 50% stake.

In a joint statement, the new partners said: ‘Temsa, an organization that has been in the Turkish industry for over 50 years, will become an active actor of the Turkish economy once again with its new organizational  structure through the partnership established by Exsa Export Sanayi Mamulleri Satıs ve Arastırma A.S., a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, and PPF Industry Co. B.V. (PPF), a member of PPF Group.’
