GM introduces new business division – BrightDrop

USA - BrightDrop is the name of a new business division of General Motors Corporation (GM) of Detroit, Michigan, USA through which it plans to offer an integrated ecosystem of electric products, software, and services for first to last mile operations.

GM plans to make available two new delivery products in 2021 - the BrightDrop electric pallet (the EP1) in early 2021, and the 4.54t gvw (gvw <10,000 lbs) electric light commercial vehicle, the EV600 in late 2021 ( see details in this issue) - with further product introductions in 2022.
