Olectra Greentech wins massive 350 e-bus order for Pune

Hyderabad / Pune – Olectra Greentech Ltd (formerly Goldstone Infratech Ltd) of Hyderabad, through its strategic tie-up with BYD Co Ltd of Shenzhen, China, and its sister concern, Evey Trans Pvt Ltd (EVEY) also of Hyderabad - which leases the buses from Olectra and provides the operations for the state authority - have received an order for 350 electric (eBuzz k9) buses from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd in Pune. These buses have been commissioned under the FAME-II scheme of Government of India. This order is for the supply of 350 electric buses on ‘Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX’2 model basis for a period of 12 years.
Evey Trans is to procure these 350 electric buses from Olectra Greentech and to be responsible for maintenance of these buses for the contract period. Delivery is within the next seven months.
