BYD's Indian partner, Olectra, wins major order in Telanga.

Olectra Greentech, through its strategic technical collaboration with BYD Auto Industry of Shenzhen, China, has started trials of its first 6x4 heavy-duty electric tipper in Hyderabad.

Olectra Greentech Ltd (formerly Goldstone Infratech Ltd) through its strategic tie-up with BYD Auto Industry of Shenzhen, China, has been allotted 150 acres of land situated at the Seetharampur Industrial Park, Shabad (Mandal), Telangana for setting up of green field factory (i.e. EV manufacturing facility) from Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (TSIIC). Any further investment plans were not disclosed at this time.

e-bus builder and operator, Olectra Greentech Ltd (formerly Goldstone Infratech Ltd) through its strategic tie-up with BYD Auto Industry of Shenzhen, China, has received an ‘OPEX’ order to supply and operate 50 air-conditioned C92 12M intercity e-buses in the state of Karnataka.
