Spanish operator orders 1,300 DAF XF 480 Super Space Cab tractor units

The Netherlands / Spain – DAF Trucks NV of Eindhoven, The Netherlands, is to supply 1,300 XF 480 Super Space Cab tractor units to the Primafrio Group, a Spanish transport company specialising in the transport of cooled and frozen food and high value goods. The fleet order will be handed over in accordance with a delivery schedule that runs to the end of 2023. The first delivery, a batch of 400 units, has just been put into operation on Primafrio’s routes throughout Europe.
Primafrio Group, founded in the early 1960s is headquartered in Murcia with subsidiaries in Andalusia, Catalonia, Basque Country, and Lisbon, as well as in France and Germany. The Primafrio Group fleet included 900 DAF vehicles by the end of 2020.
