CaetanoBus to supply ten H2.CityGold hydrogen buses to Wiesbaden

Portugal / Germany – CaetanoBus of Villa de Nova Gaia, Portugal (part of Toyota Caetano Portugal and Mitsui & Co Ltd), has won an order from Wiesbaden, Germany for ten H2.CityGold 12m hydrogen fuel cell buses for delivery in the last quarter of 2021. They will be operated by ESWE Verkehr on routes 16 and 17.

Each 2-door H2.CityGold unit will be equipped with a Toyota fuel cell, a 44kWh battery pack and a Siemens electric motor with 180kW peak power. The type IV hydrogen fuel tanks on each vehicle offer a capacity of 37.5kg of hydrogen to offer a drive range over 400km.
