Daimler teams with Infosys to develop IT infrastructure

Germany / India - Daimler AG of Stuttgart, Germany and information technology company, Infosys Ltd of Bengalaru Karnataka, India have entered a long-term strategic partnership for technology-driven IT infrastructure development and transformation.
Following regulatory approvals, Daimler AG plans to transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across workplace services, service desk, data centre, networks and SAP Basis together with Infosys. The partnership aims to enable the company to deepen its focus on software engineering and to establish a fully scalable on demand digital IT infrastructure and anytime-anywhere workplace. Infosys will benefit through gaining automotive expertise.
