USA - A collaboration between commercial vehicle makers, Navistar Inc of Lisle, Illinois, General Motors Corporation of Detroit, Michigan and OneH2, a commercial supplier of hydrogen fuel, based in Hickory, North Carolina, is introducing a complete solution for customer implementation of a hydrogen-powered zero-emission long-haul vehicle, to be initially piloted by J.B. Hunt Transport Inc.

Persio Lisboa, Navistar president and CEO, commenting on this project, said: “Hydrogen fuel cells offer great promise for heavy duty trucks in applications requiring a higher density of energy, fast refuelling and additional range. We can provide customers with added flexibility through a new hydrogen truck ecosystem which combines our vehicles with the hydrogen fuel cell technology of General Motors and the modular, mobile and scalable hydrogen production and fuelling capabilities of OneH2.”
