Omniplus offers retrofit programme for Sideguard Assist in Daimler Buses

Germany – Omniplus, the service division of EvoBus GmbH of Stuttgart, which represents the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands in Europe, is offering retrofit of the safety device, Sideguard Assist, on its Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses.

Sideguard Assist improves safety and protection of road users by alerting the driver of vehicles, cycles, or pedestrians, which could be put at risk when the bus is making a turn. More than 250 systems have been fitted in new Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses in Germany to date.
