Shyft Group acquires F3 MFG

USA - The Shyft Group Inc (formerly Spartan Motors) of Novi, Michigan has acquired F3 MFG Inc (F3) of Waterville, Maine, a manufacturer of aluminium truck bodies and accessories light-duty trucks. F3 will join the Shyft Specialty Vehicles business unit and continue to market its products under the DuraMag and Magnum brands.

The addition of DuraMag aluminium bodies to Shyft’s product offerings follows its recent acquisition of Royal Truck Body, a West Coast and Southwestern U.S. steel body maker for light-duty trucks. Combined, these acquisitions elevate Shyft’s position as a national service body manufacturer.
