Germany / USAMaxion Wheels GmbH of Königswinter, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany has announced a strategic partnership with early-stage investor Plug and Play Tech Center of Sunnyvale, California, USA, which runs a programme called ‘Startup Autobahn’ in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Maxion Wheels will work together with Startup Autobahn to foster innovation among start-up tech companies participating in the initiative. Promising ideas are selected, piloted, and then presented at two annual expositions organised by Startup Autobahn. Through the partnership, Maxion hopes to engage with and potentially build relationships with new companies involved in bringing forward new ideas to the automotive industry. In turn, prospective partners could stand to benefit from parent Iochpe-Maxion’s global presence and expertise in wheel and chassis technologies.
