Indonesia - Bus and coach demand almost grinds to a halt in Q4/2020

Indonesia - The Indonesian market for medium and large buses and coaches virtually collapsed in the fourth quarter of 2020; falling by over 77% to just 242 units from 1,065 units a year earlier, resulting in a decline of more than 52% in full-year sales to 1,950 units. The data does not cover all brands, including some Chinese brands.

The travel and tourism sectors last year were hit hard by restrictions on international travel, while domestic travel has been held back by lockdowns and an overall lack of demand. Restrictions also depressed demand for local public transportation last year.
