Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Tokyo’s Shinagawa district, in February agreed with IT company, Fujitsu Ltd of Tokyo, and their joint venture company, Transtron Inc, to jointly develop a new connected platform with commercial vehicle fleet data.

The aim is to develop a new information infrastructure offering a new advanced fleet management system and uptime support service. The platform will allow the integration of customer commercial vehicle data collected remotely by Isuzu and Transtron, such as the condition and location of some 500,000 commercial vehicles in operation.
