Japan Hydrogen Association to help develop hydrogen supply-chain

Japan - A group of Japanese companies in December 2020 established the Japan Hydrogen Association (JH2A), an association dedicated to the promotion of a global hydrogen-based eco-system. Among the Japanese companies that have joined the organization as founding members are shipping company K-Line; vehicle manufacturers Mitsubishi-Fuso and Toyota Motor Corporation; ENEOS Corporation; Iwatani Corporation; Kawasaki Heavy Industries; Kobe Steel; Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group; Kansai Electric Power Company; Toshiba Corporation; and Mitsui & Company.

JH2A aims to promote collaboration in the development of new technologies and standards for hydrogen, establish a strong supply-chain and lobby for favourable government policies.
