UK / Germany - Alexander Dennis Ltd of Larbert, UK, part of Winnipeg, Canada’s, NFI Group Inc, says its next generation double deck hydrogen bus can deliver a zero-emission range of up to 300 miles (480km).

The bus is to be powered by a hydrogen fuel cell power module (FCmove) supplied by Ballard Power Systems Inc of Vancouver, Canada through the Voith Electrical Drive System (VEDS), an electric driveline supplied by Voith Turbo GmbH of Heidenheim, Germany; this is the second major new driveline contract announcement for Voith in a month and follows the Bamford Bus Company’s decision to offer the Voith e-driveline in the next generation Wrightbus double deck.
