Ballard receives second order for 50 fuel cell modules from Wrightbus

Canada / UK - Ballard Power Systems of Vancouver has received follow-on purchase orders from Ballymena-based Wrightbus for 50 fuel cell modules to power fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs), for deployment in UK cities. The buses are being partially funded by the JIVE¹ (Joint Initiative For Hydrogen Vehicles Across Europe) programme and will include further deliveries to London and Aberdeen and initial batches for Belfast and Birmingham.
