Daimler Buses develops purpose-designed Euro VI touring coach for Taiwan

Germany / Spain / Taiwan - Daimler Buses, a division of Daimler Trucks AG of Stuttgart, Germany is launching its first Euro VI touring coach for the Taiwanese market. The vehicle is based on the Spanish-made Mercedes-Benz OC 500 chassis built at the Sámano plant.

Taiwanese partner, MFTB Taiwan Company Ltd of Taoyuan City – a joint venture of Daimler’s FUSO commercial vehicle subsidiary and the Shung Ye Group of Taipei, Taiwan - will assemble the Euro VI chassis locally.
