idem Telematic’s new solutions makes fleet networking more accessible

Germany – idem Telematics of Ulm, part of BPW Bergische Achsen KG, says networking of drivers, freight and vehicles is indispensable for transport and logistics companies – but warns many hauliers are in danger of being left behind when it comes to digitisation. Consequently, the company is now simplifying entry into and expansion of fleet networking with new types of hardware, expandable functions and a simplified installation and commissioning process with the help of a service app.
Using its open system principle idem telematics offers the telematics portal called cargofleet 3, which, not only networks all vehicle types and transport uses, but also supports different transport management systems. idem telematics says it has now drastically simplified the associated hardware while at the same time redefined the standard scope.
