Mercedes-Benz and Caio launch city minibus for the Chilean market

Chile - Caio Induscar Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda of Botucatu, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo have developed a new model of city minibus for the Chilean market. The new minibus is based on the Mercedes-Benz LO 916/45 chassis and the Caio F2400 body.

At the end of April, the companies plan to present the model to local operators in partnership with Caio’s bodybuilder representative in Chile, Brasil Buses Ltda of Santiago. Caio says it intends to make the brand even more competitive in the segment of urban minibuses in the region.
