According to Santiago-based ANAC (Asociación Nacional Automotriz de Chile) trucks registrations between January and June this year decreased by 19.7% compared with the same period in 2022, where as the bus and coach volumes rose by 60%.

3,140 of the total 4,056 CVs registered in Q1 of 2023 were trucks , a decrease of 21.0% compared with 3,973 units sold in the previous first quarter last year.

According to ANAC (Associação Nacional Automotriz de Chile), sales of over 19,000 CVs in 2022 is the best result in recent years, being 44.44% higher than 13,272 units sold in 2020,and 17.24% above 16,342 vehicles sold in 2019, before the covid-19 pandemic.
