Irizar Group subsidiaries supply turnkey solution as part of 44 electric bus order to Burgas in Bulgaria

Spain / Bulgaria - Irizar e-mobility of Aduna, Spain (a division of Irizar S Coop), starting September 2021 is to supply 44 electric ie buses to Burgas Bus (an operator of over 130 vehicles) in Burgas, Bulgaria. These are the first electric buses acquired by Burgas and, according to Irizar, its electro-mobility project is currently one of the largest in Bulgaria.
The 44 bus contract comprises 34, 12m buses and ten 18m articulated units. The 12m buses are to have three doors, 26 seats and an area for wheelchairs, whereas the 18m buses are to have four doors, 32 seats and an area for wheelchairs. All are to be equipped with Irizar lithium-ion batteries.
