Daimler Trucks rolls out eCanter in Australia

Portugal / Japan / Australia - Fuso Truck & Bus Australia (FUSO) of Huntingwood, NSW has launched Daimler Trucks’ series-produced Fuso eCanter in Australia.
The eCanter for Australia, which is sourced from European production facilities in Tramagal, Portugal, comes with the same standard specifications as the models currently available in Japan and Europe. Standard safety feature installations in eCanter includes Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Hill Start, a reversing camera and driver and passenger airbags. Before the official launch in April, the electric light duty truck was tested rigorously during a six-month local trial, during which it was operated with a maximum load up to the gross weight of 7.5t gvw.
