BAE Systems teams up with Plug Power to offer hydrogen-based electric propulsion systems and fuelling solutions for city bus fleets

USA - BAE Systems Power & Propulsion Solutions (PPS), a division of BAE Systems Inc, which is based in Endicott, New York, USA and Plug Power of Latham, New York have announced a collaboration to provide hydrogen-based electric propulsion systems and fuelling solutions for city bus fleets.

For BAE Systems, this represents the latest implementation using its range of modular electric drive products, including motors, power and control electronics, and energy storage solutions. Plug Power is a rapidly growing provider of hydrogen fuel cell turn-key solutions for a range of applications including mobility and material handling.
