KamAZ adds new heavy-duty off-road tipper to portfolio

RussiaKamAZ OSJC of Naberezhnye Chelny has expanded its range of heavy-duty tippers for off-road quarrying operations with the new 10x6, KAMAZ-65807, which offers a payload of 65t (95t gvw) – it was launched at MiningWorld Russia-2021 exhibition in Moscow in April. KamAZ states the new vehicle has been designed for hard rock transportation in regions with a cold climate.

A 550hp 12-litre inline six-cylinder Kamaz-910.10 (Euro V) engine is coupled with a seven-speed Allison 4700 series transmission. The physical dimensions of the truck are 11.04m long, 3.5m wide and 4.1m high with a 30 cu.m. The tipper has a Hardox steel body - the bottom is 15mm thick and the sides, 9 mm - manufactured by the KamAZ neighbour, SpetsAvtoKam, also based in Naberezhnye Chelny.
