JK Tyre to supply ‘connected tyres’ for JBM’s CNG & Electric buses

Delhi – JK Tyre & Industries Ltd of New Delhi, one of India’s largest tyre manufacturers, says it has partnered with integral bus builder, JBM Auto Ltd1 of Gurugram (New Delhi) to supply radial tyres fitted with its smart tyres device for JBM’s CNG (JBM Citylife) and electric buses (JBM Ecolife).
The association involves end-to-end ownership of ‘Total Tyre Management’ with a dedicated team of JK Tyre professionals to assist 24x7 across its 11 workshops established in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. JK Tyre says, as part of the contract it is also setting up ‘Connected Mobility Solutions,’ a first-of-its-kind cloud-based monitoring system.
