JK Tyres offers new tyres to the fast expanding electric bus building industry in India.

The tyre manufacturer has announced it plans to spend about USD70m in FY2023 to expand its truck and bus radial (TBR) tyre manufacturing operations and to increase operational efficiencies at its plants across India.

JK Tyre & Industries Ltd of New Delhi, one of India’s largest tyre manufacturers, says it has partnered with integral bus builder, JBM Auto Ltd1 of Gurugram (New Delhi) to supply radial tyres fitted with its smart tyres device for JBM’s CNG (JBM Citylife) and electric buses (JBM Ecolife).
