266 coaches to Grupo JCA and announces plans to build 100 units this year for Chile

Brazil - Carbuss Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda (owner of the Busscar brand) of Joinville, Santa Catarina has sold 266 coaches to the JCA group of Niterói city, Rio de Janeiro state. This order includes 100, newly launched El Bus 320 L models with a front engine for short routes and chartering mounted on Scania, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen chassis – see separate article in this issue - 50, Vissta Buss Double Deck coaches and, 116, Vista Buss 360 – both mounted on Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen chassis.

Paulo Corso, commercial director of JCA Group, said: “We started delivering the first batch of 70 units in May, and then the schedule continues with monthly deliveries of 50 coaches until September this year.” The new coaches are to be operated under the group's subsidiary companies of 1001, Opção, Cometa and Catarinense.
