UK / USA – Electric vehicle manufacturer, Arrival Ltd1 of London, UK has engaged the technology services of Ambarella Inc2 of Santa Clara, California – both are NASDAQ listed companies – to offer autonomous driving (AD) and ADAS functions in its electric bus and van concepts. More specifically Ambarella is to integrate the Ambarella CV2FS CVflow AI vision processor into all Arrival vehicles.

ADAS features provide commercial sector vehicles with advanced safety and convenience-related driver assistance capabilities, including lane departure warning (LDW), lane keeping assist (LKA), vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring (BSM), traffic sign recognition (TSR) and traffic light recognition (TLR). This platform claims to enable the highest levels of autonomy without the need for hardware upgrades in the future.
