Evobus launches most comprehensive range of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus models yet

GermanyEvobus GmbH of Stuttgart, a division of Daimler AG, has introduced its most comprehensive range of complete minibuses. The minibuses comprise four model series of Sprinter City, Sprinter Transfer, Sprinter Mobility and Sprinter Travel; designed to meet all the many different operational requirements.

The Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter City 75 – aimed at regular-service bus routes – measures 8.486m in length and can carry up to 19 seated passengers. The twin-tyred rear axle permits a maximum loading of 4.8t and allows a 6.8t GVW. Passenger access is via a double-wing, electrically operated outward swivelling door behind the front axle into the low floor centre saloon. A single-wing rear door is also electrically powered. The seating in the low floor area is mounted on quick release and swivel mechanisms to allow rapid repositioning or removal to allow space for a wheelchair or additional standees.
