Italy – Iveco SpA of Turin (part of CNH International NV), has celebrated the 600,000th Eurocargo produced at its Brescia plant, Italy. The Brescia facility is home to a dedicated workforce of around 1,600 employees. Eurocargo, now in its fourth generation, has enjoyed continued success since its launch in 1991. The milestone vehicle was powered by compressed natural gas.

The Bertone-designed Eurocargo was conceived to be one of the most innovative industrial vehicles on the market with a modular cab platform allowing extensive scope for vehicle customisation without driving up costs. The factory also produces special versions for military applications and firefighting.
