Konin to become first city in Poland with Solaris hydrogen fuel cell buses

Poland – Bolechhowo-based Solaris Bus & Coach has confirmed MZK in Konin will become the first public transport operator in Poland to add a hydrogen bus to its fleet. The contract stipulates a four-year lease of the Urbino 12 hydrogen bus propelled with energy derived from hydrogen. The vehicle is be delivered to Konin in 2022.

The vehicle's acquisition is allied to Konin's decision to build the first general-accessible hydrogen refilling station in Poland. This is scheduled for completion before the end of 2021.
