Sweden – In November this year, truck builder, Scania AB of Södertälje, Sweden is planning to introduce a substantially updated Euro VI truck range with production scheduled for the second quarter in 2022, according to Alexander Vlaskamp, executive vice president and head of sales and marketing at Scania.

No details about the new truck models were disclosed by Vlaskamp other than to state the new truck range would come with ‘substantial’ improvements in fuel consumption compared with the current range, as well as chassis updates. Vlaskamp said the company would be educating its sales force during the autumn to ensure all its people were ready for the introduction in November.
