CanadaFirst Student, a school bus service operator across North America, has ordered 260 all-electric LionC* school buses from Canadian commercial vehicle manufacturer, Lion Electric Company, which is headquartered in Saint-Jérôme. This is the single largest order of school buses made by a customer in Lion’s manufacturing history, and it will make First Student the largest operator of zero-emission school transportation in North America.

Deliveries of the LionC buses are set to begin in the second half of this year and will continue through to the first half of 2023. The buses are to be operated by Transco, a subsidiary of First Student based in Quebec, Canada.
