Lion Electric to supply over 100 battery-electric trucks to US waste operator

Canada / USALion Electric Company, a Canadian commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Saint-Jerome, Montreal, is set to supply Heritage Environmental Services in California with over 100 of its electric trucks, subject to an initial review. 

While Heritage has initially purchased five Lion battery-electric trucks, it anticipates that it will acquire an additional 80 Lion8 vehicles and 20 Lion6 vehicles over a four-year period, provided certain operational targets are met. Production of the additional 100 Lion trucks is set to begin in 2022, to be completed in 2025. These trucks will be powered by battery packs designed and produced by Romeo Power Inc of Vernon, California.
