UK Switch Mobility Ltd, a British manufacturer of electric buses and light commercial vehicles based in Sherburn in Elmet, UK – a division of Ashok Leyland of Chennai - showcased its vision to become a “global technology leader providing zero-emission commercial mobility products and solutions” to investors from India and London, following a series of high-profile appointments.

Earlier in the year, Switch appointed Dr Andrew Palmer, former president and CEO of Aston Martin, as Executive Vice Chairman and CEO. Other recent hires include Sarwant Singh Saini, in May, who is now president and Chief Planning Officer of the company and Dr Miranda Brawn and J M Alapont, who were inducted to the Board of Directors in July. Brawn is a former Goldman Sachs and J P Morgan banker and senior lawyer, while Alapont was also recently re-appointed as Independent Director of Ashok Leyland, Switch’s parent company.
