ChargePoint acquires fleet management software company ViriCiti

USA / The Netherlands – ChargePoint Holdings Inc, an electric vehicle infrastructure company based in Campbell, California, recently acquired Amsterdam-based ViriCiti BV, a Dutch software company specialising in fleet management solutions, for EUR75m. ChargePoint plans to incorporate ViriCiti’s fleet management software into its operations.
ViriCiti’s platform optimises fleet operations relating to battery management, monitoring of charging stations, telematics, and vehicle maintenance, with the aim of increasing efficiency and lowering costs for operators. Using the data drawn from ViriCiti’s platform, ChargePoint aims to advise fleet operators on which routes to electrify and provide them with a comprehensive fleet management solution.
