Nexus-e to roll out off-grid recharging stations in Frankfurt

Nexus-e battery-buffered fast charging stations

GermanyProton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH, a manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cells based in Puchheim, Germany, announced that Nexus-e GmbH will be developing fast charging stations buffered by hydrogen fuel cells. Nexus-e is a joint venture by Proton Motor and Schaefer Elektronik GmbH, a specialist in power supply systems for industrial applications based in Achern, Germany, which aims to produce charging stations for battery-electric vehicles that are grid-independent.
