FranceChereau SAS, a manufacturer specialising in refrigerated truck bodies and trailers based in Avranches, France, has been brought back into French majority ownership by a consortium of investment firms and shareholders.

The company was incorporated into The Reefer Group (TRG) in 2016 after facing a series of financial crises in the preceding decade. The majority shareholder of The Reefer Group was private equity fund, Miura Partners, based in Barcelona, Spain, who consolidated Chereau with SOR Ibérica of Valencia, which also manufactures refrigerated trailers and remains an integral part of the group.
