Fuso launches mileage-based lease programme in Japan

Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), based in Kawasaki (MFTBC), in partnership with Japan-based Fuso Financial and Mercedes-Benz Finance Company Ltd, announced in June the launch of the Fuso Mileage Lease “pay-as-you-drive” programme in Japan.
The programme records driving distances in real time through MFTBC’s telematics platform Truckonnect, allowing for monthly leasing bills to be adjusted according to customer usage.
