Philippines sales rebound in Q2 2021 from depressed levels

The Philippines - The market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw in the Philippines rebounded by over 130% to an estimated 21,692 units in the second quarter of 2021 after plunging by 83% to 9,426 units in the same period of last year – according to www.AsiaMotorBusiness.com based on data from various industry sources.

The Philippine economy expanded for the first time in five quarters in the second quarter of 2021, with growth rebounding by 11.8% after plunging by almost 17% a year earlier due to social and business restrictions imposed to slow the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
