Toyota invests in fleet technology company Ridecell

Japan - Woven Capital, the investment arm of Toyota Motor Company’s Tokyo, Japan-based Woven Planet Group Inc subsidiary, announced it has invested in Ridecell Inc, a specialist platform provider for IoT-driven automation for mobility and fleet businesses.

Woven Capital is an USD800m global investment fund that supports innovative, growth-stage companies operating in the mobility, automation, artificial intelligence, data and analytics, connectivity, and smart city sectors.
