Hendrickson ships 500,000th Steertek NXT axle

USA – Hendrickson International Inc of Woodridge, USA, has announced production of its 500,000th Steertek NXT proprietary front steer axle, sold to transport operator, J.B. Hunt Transport Inc.
Suitable for on-road medium-duty trucks and buses, the Steertek axle, which accommodates a variety of wheel-end and knuckle design options, is compatible on trucks with axle weights of between 3.6 tonnes per axle to 6.6 tonnes per axle (8,000-14,600 lbs).
