Iveco receives order for 120 LNG S-WAY trucks

Italy – Iveco SpA of Turin, Italy, has announced the sale of 120 LNG S-WAY trucks to GLS Italy, a subsidiary of the GLS Group. The new S-WAY tractor units are powered by LNG or bio-LNG, with the latter expected to be the primary fuel used by GLS.
When powered by biomethane, the trucks will be expected to achieve a CO2 reduction of 78,000 tonnes – the equivalent of 8,000 fewer cars on the road, or 1.5 million trees planted in an area equivalent to more than 5,000 football fields.
