Phillips Connect announces CargoVision safety solution

USA - Phillips Connect (a subsidiary and division of Phillips Industries Inc of Santa Fe Springs, California) has announced a new, 100% solar-powered cargo camera for use in trailers and vans. Using a colour coded system, the Phillips CargoVision provides users with a coloured signal to display the safety of operating the cargo doors. If any goods have fallen against the doors and risk injuring workers during unloading, CargoVision will display a red light to the operator. If unloading is safe, CargoVision will display a green light.
Phillips Connect claims the solution is both economical and easy to install - a task that can be completed in as little as 15 minutes. The system features a 1080p camera that continuously captures images that are delivered to the operator on-demand, at pre-programmed time intervals, or driven by specific events such as motion.
